about

The Dream scene happens during Laborious Work but editing must assure there is no mixing with Farewell scene.

During normal operation of spaceship CHO an asteroid field is detected. The procedure in this cases is to take advantage of gravitational accelaration forces and spare solar energy. In pratice this means that CHO, whose design is pretty much like a butterfly, folds his wings around his body and head, assuming a shape of a drill or bullet. Like this, velocity becomes maximum, damage to the solar pannels is none and the pilot capsule is also enclosed by the folded wings to assume no damage to it.

In this scene, CHO spacecraft enters like described at full speed in an asteroid field and, although there is no explainable relation, KEN starts to dream. What the constant monitoring camera and support system show is an eyes closed and smiling KEN.

The viewers follow KEN into his dream.

It starts at space station, Ken has is arm over YUUMA shoulders and smiles for the camera just before starting preparation.

From that instant, the dream jumps to HICHIROU's room. KEN is laying him down asleep. He kisses him and HICHIROU smiles but doesn't wake. The room is full of stars, moons, planets and ships hanged from the ceiling. In a big cork boards, are HICHIROU's drawings: a spaceship like CHO, KEN in astronaut suit, HICHIROU giving his hands to father and mother, a paper sheet with a spaceship and saying "I will wait for you Daddy!".

The dream continues at KEN's room. He's making love with NOA. They grab and pull each other, they are tender and desperate at the same time, they act like they want to fill that moment with the fullness of their lives.

From there to the beach. A place where they spent sometime at holidays. A huge house right on top of the dunes. One could leave the living room, walk 20 steps and feal the wet sand under his feet.

Noa was sitting on the edge of the balcony with her head at the shadow and with her feet playing with the sand. From the doors and windows white curtains danced with the wind.

He was running after the small HICHIROU. It was funny to see him try so hard to run more than KEN that he even threw wet sand over the air. KEN always let him run a while in "pole position" before grabing him and threw him to the water or fall together to the sand. They laught, they laught so much.

As HICHIROU goes to meet NOA, KEN seats on the almost dry sand watching the waves, the sea, clouds and Sun. He feels there is some kind of bigger greatness in all that, something that he can't even know how to ask.

KEN sees HICHIROU and NOA at the door of the living room, white curtains flying behind them, calling him with signs. They smiled so much, they are so beautiful, he fills so complet with them.

The spaceship CHO ends crossing the asteroid field. Slowly the ship unfolds his magnificient wings of Sun. The light invades KEN's capsule. He is still dreaming, he wants to go to them at the door of the living room. But as he walks towards them he feels himself falling into nothing, a black endless void. The dream is over.

NOTES: this dream should happen after all KEN's past is dead. Makes the scene more dramatic and intense.

Also, this scene should not be mixed with the "Hacked" scene. This dream is pure and spontaneous without any form of interference.

Carlos Geadas Lisbon, Portugal

As a listener, music always made part of my life. I enjoy all kinds of music as long as within it's kind is good.
In 2014 I've started playing with Garageband, generative software and a 25 key usb/midi keyboard. Since there I've found that I could express myself through music. The albuns I present here and at my Youtube channel are what I'm learning about painting or writing with sounds.
