SYNOPSIS:

In a few decades SEA (Space Exploration Agency) is ready for the launch of the spaceship CHO. This mission has two main objectives: first, the search for inteligent life in outspace; second, to plant integrated observation and communication sattelites always on the maximum range between pods, creating (along time and more missions) a giant hub of observation and communications through outter space.

CHO space ship carries a sole human being in suspended animation - astronaut KEN. The mission of KEN is to be waken in case of detection of inteligent life and let him establish the first contact and avaliation.

In case all the pods are placed and no contact is made, the ship returns to Earth or any other location spread through the pod network as destination.

KEN is married to NOA and father of HICHIROU, a boy with around 8 years. They all know that, from a family point of view, this is a one way mission since, while KEN will be in suspended animation, NOA and HICHIROU will grow old and die.

At the Agency, his best friend is doctor YUUMA. They both made the astronaut course together and have more missions together than any other two astronauts from the agency.

In the end, The Voyager is a movie about solitude, family, ambition, sacrifice, the unstopable and unacceptable process of aging, and the eternal demand for answers for questions we can't even formulate properly.

ADDITIONAL NOTES:
All the music for this OST is Generative, which means that is computer generated above a few paramenters I've selected. This part of the objective of this OST I consider it was sucessful since, as far as I know, there was never a complete OST made of generative music.

This track was conceived to be used both as the main title and as the end title, since I think it adapts well to the mood of the movie both before and after the story is known.

Carlos Geadas Lisbon, Portugal

As a listener, music always made part of my life. I enjoy all kinds of music as long as within it's kind is good.
In 2014 I've started playing with Garageband, generative software and a 25 key usb/midi keyboard. Since there I've found that I could express myself through music. The albuns I present here and at my Youtube channel are what I'm learning about painting or writing with sounds.
